Tired Events, Inc. ("Tired Events", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at tiredevents.com and associated mobile applications. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with its terms, please discontinue use of the platform.

1. Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

  • Account information: Name, email address, hashed password, phone number, and profile photo.

  • Communications: Messages sent through our platform between organizers and service providers.
  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, device type, browser, operating system, IP address, and approximate location derived from IP.
  • Passkey credentials: Stored locally on your device. Only cryptographic proof is transmitted to our servers — we never receive biometric data.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Tired Events platform.
  • Process ticket purchases and provider bookings.
  • Send transactional emails: booking confirmations, receipts, and event reminders.

  • Send platform updates and promotional communications (you may opt out at any time).
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share data with:

Service providers: Trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (Stripe for payments, AWS for hosting, Resend for email). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
Event organizers and service providers: When you purchase a ticket or send a booking inquiry, relevant contact details are shared with the organizer or provider to fulfill the transaction.
Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tired Events, its users, or the public.
Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may be transferred as part of that transaction with equivalent privacy protections.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on servers located in the United States and the European Union. We implement industry-standard security measures including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 encryption in transit, regular third-party security audits, strict internal access controls (least-privilege), and automated intrusion detection systems.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact security@tiredevents.com immediately.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Some data may be retained longer if required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, analyze platform usage via aggregated analytics, and prevent fraudulent activity.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or share data with ad networks. You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect platform functionality.
